About Mutawinat
Mutawinat is Sudanese non –governmental non—profit making company aiming to promote the protection of women and children human rights in Sudan. The organization approach to reach its overall goal through developing programs and projects using different interventions such as advocacy, access to justice and legal aid services , knowledge building and training , awareness raising , research and studies, coordination and networking.
Mutawinat is registered as a “benevolent company” since 1990, under the Commercial registrar of companies, Ministry of Justice following its rules and regulations.
Further, Mutawinat is working on advocacy towards legal reforms and engagement of women in peace process. Legal reform is strongly linked with women access to justice, otherwise women will resort to unjust laws, or laws without justice.
